Mary Joyner is an experienced administrator and a dedicated educator. She earned a degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. After working in business for 16 years, she returned to college and earned an education degree. Mary worked in both public and charter schools before joining Atlantis Academy after her son attended the school.

Teresa Marrero has been part of the Atlantis Academy family since 2015. Prior to her transition into the role of Director, Teresa was our Assistant Director; and a Middle School Foundations instructor, before that. Teresa brings over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents who present with a wide range of exceptionalities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Teresa prides herself on participating in educational trainings and is preparing to complete the Licensed Mental Health Counselor exam in hopes of touching the lives of as many children as possible.

Yes, students are expected to wear a uniform every day. Your campus will provide purchasing information.
Yes. The Before-School Care program starts at 7:00 a.m. and the After-School Care program is provided until 6:00 p.m. on every full day of school. To participate, please register your student in advance.
Yes - although extracurricular offerings may vary slightly from year to year. We typically offer intramural sports (soccer/basketball, etc.), clubs such as yearbook, chess, art, and more. Our high school students also have a prom and our seniors attend Grad Bash in addition to the many events we offer all students throughout the year.
Yes, we offer both individual tutoring and group sessions for all subject areas.
The school day is from 7:45 a.m.- 2:45 p.m.
