A Top-Notch Education Within Reach
As a parent of a child with special needs, you already spend more time in the car than you might like. But, what if you could find a school that’s near your home, your child’s occupational therapist, and their medical specialists?
Atlantis Academy has campuses throughout South Florida, including a campus in Miami, and we specialize in supporting students with learning differences — and their families.
Want to see how we can help your child thrive close to home?
Where — and How — We Serve Students With Special Needs
At our Miami campus, we educate students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and we offer the convenience of the Living Independently with Fundamental Experiences Program. The L.I.F.E. Program teaches young adults ages 18 and older the skills they need to live a more independent life in the home and in the workplace.
We support students with a wide range of learning differences — including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia — and our focus is always on helping students become as independent and successful as possible.
About the Miami Campus
At our Miami location, you’ll find many teachers who have spent 25 years or more encouraging students with special needs. Their experience, combined with Atlantis Academy’s small class sizes, means your child will be seen, known, and supported.
Our Miami campus also boasts a tennis court and softball field, an outside space that’s perfect for play, and areas for older students to learn life skills, like cooking and doing laundry. Plus, because of its location, students often enjoy field trips to the Frost Science Museum, MIAair Tour, Pinecrest Gardens, and more. Students in the L.I.F.E. Program work on job skills almost daily at nearby businesses, like Zoo Miami and Baptist Hospital of Miami.
Outside of school hours, families enjoy the benefits of being close to beautiful beaches, more than 100 parks, and professional sports teams, including the Marlins, Dolphins, and Heat.
